I teach Yoga to help people find relief from persistent stress and anxiety.
Yoga has saved my sanity, if not my life. I was suffering from two autoimmune diseases, Type 1 Diabetes and Menieres Disease. The constant anxiety surrounding these chronic ailments was taking a toll on my physical and mental health. A donation based community Yoga class at Ruta Maya coffee house in Austin, TX became my therapy in more ways than one; the work and philosophy in the class supported me physically and emotionally. After several years of practicing Yoga and having success combating my own autoimmune disease related stress, I did Yoga Teacher Training and became a Yoga Therapist to help others with similar stresses.
In the L.A. area, contact me for private and small group sessions. In the future I plan to post Yoga videos by donation as well as offer Skype sessions.
I am a 200 hour RYT, Integrative Yoga Therapist as well as a certified Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher with the knowledge and skills to teach yoga to populations with PTSD, GAD and PD.
